今までに読んだ彼女の本の中でいちばん笑った。ところかまわず吹きだしてしまうおそれがあるので、電車の中の読書や、本屋の立ち読みにはご用心を。
読んでみるとあらためて人間の記憶のあいまいさを思い知らされる。自分も試しに描いてみたが、どれひとつ満足に描けなかった・・・。

絵だけでも笑えるのに、彼女のコメントがつくことによって、どんな絵も息をふきこまれたかのように、生き生きとさらにおもしろさを倍増させてくるから不思議。

相手が一般の投稿者（８０，９０代の方からの作品もけっこうあってびっくり）だからなのか、絵を描く必死さが伝わってくるからか、テレビ批評のときと違って、コメントもいつもの辛口ながら、肩の力が抜いたようなリラックスムードの感。それでも容赦のない投稿作品には、相手に不足なし！とばかりに容赦せず！これぞ彼女の魅力。それにしても天才的な筆力にはただただ舌を巻く。返す返すも新しい文章をもう読めないことが残念！！

とにかく笑わせてもらいました。投稿された絵の面白さもさることながら、その絵に対するナンシー関のコメントが絶妙！受験勉強の息抜きに読みふけり、図書館で笑いをこらえるのに必死でした。
つらいことがあっても、これを読めば大丈夫！
ちなみに私はいいなと思った異性にこの本を読ませて、感性や笑いのつぼが合っているか、こっそりチェックします。

正真正銘の抱腹絶倒本である。「パンダ」や「スフィンクス」など、様々な「お題」をめぐり、記憶だけを頼りにスケッチを描く読者と、その絵に絶妙な言葉を添えていくナンシーとの究極のコラボレーションはあまりのハマリぶりに鳥肌が立つほどである。時折本書を音読するのだが、そのたびに一同の大爆笑が渦を巻き、共鳴して家が壊れそうになるのであわてて中断する仕儀になる。
この本、実はとんでもないことを証明してしまった。芸能評論を書くナンシーより、記憶スケッチを評論するナンシーのほうが格段に面白いのである。ナンシーはこれからどうするのだろうといらぬ老婆心まで出てくる始末である。
