書店で何気なく手に取り、面白そうだったので購入しました。
結果はなんだか期待外れ。
前半は一気に読めてしまいました。
でも後半は肝心の謎解きに関して、話の辻褄が合わない点がいくつか。
無理に話をつなげた印象もあり、状況がよくわからなくなりました。
もう一度じっくり読み直さないと、自分の中で解決できそうにありません。
そういった細かいことにとらわれず、「ホラー」としてさらりと読み流す分には面白いかもしれません。

前半まではどういう展開になるのかと非常に面白く読める。
しかし、後半から話を複雑にしようとするためなのか、もしくはチェーンレターの連鎖の恐怖を描くためなのか、無理やりに続けたような感があり、段々興ざめしてしまった。
この話は前半で終わりにしたほうがよかったのではないだろうか。
ただし、ホラー小説なので、こういうのもありなのかもしれない。
ミステリーとして読むとちょっと弱いように思う。

作品の中核部分に辻褄が合わない点がある。人によっては破綻しているともとれる大きなものです。話も前半から後半までチグハグでうまく連結していない。設定に魅かれて手に取りましたがイマイチでした。話の割には冗長なのでもっと短くてもよかったのではないかと思う。
