バブル期のドラマで大活躍したドラマの原作者で『東京ラブストーリー』『あすなろ白書』など売れっ子俳優を続々と誕生させた有名なマンガ家だ。
男性観も現代的で時に厳しく辛口でバッサリ切るが、時にミーハーで共感できる感性豊かな女性の著書。

他の著書でもたびたび柴門ふみは自分のことをミーハーだと書いてますが、ミーハーはミーハーでもそんじょそこらのミーハーとはわけが違います。ひとことで言えば、彼女の「好き」は深い!「ただなんとなく〜」なんてことはありえなくて、必ずそこには「好き」の理由があり、好きになったものへの深い洞察があります。そんな深さを証明したのが爆笑問題の章でしょう。これを書いたとき「今年こそ、まさしく爆笑だ」と予言した彼女の言葉の通り、爆笑問題はその年に大ブレイク。すごい先見の明です。単に男を見る目ってだけじゃなく、人を見る目ってなんなんだ?って考えさせられる本でした。
