表紙は現在公開中の映画からのもの。
らもさんの決して得意分野ではない部分への挑戦と言えるのではないでしょうか。
作品全体から、らもさん特有の「とほほ」が渋みとしてでています。これは得意分野なのでしょう。
らもさんファンは勿論、映画を見て興味を持った人にもぜひ見てほしいです。
私はこんなに豪華な俳優陣で映画化されるとは思っていませんでした。
らもさんの作品は私みたいな弱い人間のものだと思っていました。
アングラな感覚たまらないのですが、名俳優さんが寝ずの番を読んでいるという光景はそれだけで面白いです。

04年10月の追悼ライブは今でも忘れられません。
最後にあのキッチュさんが涙をこらえていたのには、感慨深いものがあります。
それでも後の二次会では笑顔で握手をしてくれました。
「カッコ良かったですね！」「来てよかったぁ」という声が飛んでいました。らもは決してカッコ良い人ではない。
だが、カッコ良い人たちに愛された人なのだと思う。
だから他の多くの作品を読むべきだ。それがらもさんへの献杯なのだと思う。
「ありがとう・・・・」そう云いたくなる人でした。

あまりに痛快で面白すぎて最後までアッという間に読んでしまった。読んでいて気持ちイイくらい笑いが満ち足りている作品だと思いました。
あとがきに、マキノ雅彦監督が映画の撮影秘話などエッセイ調で語られており映画を見てない者まで楽しい気分になった。
