　鷺沢萌氏の本をよんだのは、これがはじめてなのですが、とにかく最初に素晴らしいといっておきましょう。
　あらすじを読んだときは、大して期待してなかったのですが、ところがどっこい予想外、なかんじで、ある種の震えをかんじました。この人の存在を知ったというだけで心がウキウキしてきます。もちろん氏の作品は全て読み尽くすつもりです。
　本なんてものは、よんでみないと、わからないものですよ。

複雑な家庭事情により「人に嫌われない」ことを第一にして生きてきた男が
「さよなら」が言い出せないがために、3人の女性と同時進行で付き合うこととなり
やがて破綻していくというストーリー。

「人の寂しさ」に付け入ることで人との関係を構築してきた男が
「人に嫌われないこと」こそが最も寂しい行為だと
気付かされるまでの話運びは巧妙。

ラスト、結局一人目の女性が「それでも男を信じていく」ことを選択する。
その「信じる」という選択を狂気の沙汰として片付けるのは良いが
それが寂しさとそれにまつわる人の営為を
解釈する手段として適切なのかどうかは疑問が残る。

「たったひとつの問題は、勝利には朱美以外にもそういう付き合いをしている女性がふたりいたことだった」…

この一文だけだったなぁ、ちょっとゾクッときたのは。
たどってたどって、タネが明かされてみれば、
それは軽~くテレビドラマ。
いまでも余韻が残るほどの読後感はありません。
