　無機質に小説として評価すると、細部は結構入念に設定してあると思う。しかし伏線の類はほとんど無く。ほぼ一本道で一気に読めるお話。主人公はヒロインのことが好きなのに、その思いが一向にかなえられないことができなくて、とても悲しい。ラストもとてもやるせなく、思わず感情移入してしまった。一度は読むべき！

こりゃこりゃ、読んで欲しい一作です。
オーケンって、本当に文才があるし、すごい想像力の持ち主だぁ~ね。
1992年に初版が出版されているそうですが、
そんな前にこんな話を書けるなんて、なんだか今この時代を予見していたような内容でちょっと驚きです。

内容は、題目通り、新興宗教･･･その名も『オモイデ教』を中心に成り立つ小説です。

はっきり言って、めちゃおも！ですので、テンポよく一気に読めちゃいますよ☆
私は、小学校の運動会があってる賑やかな運動場の木下で、
運動会が終わるまでに読み終わっちゃいました（本とは全く関係ないですけどね）。
因みに、表紙の絵がなんだかレトロ画でいい味出してますよ。

大槻ケンジが面白い文章を書く人だというのも、しゃべりが面白い人と
いうのも知ってはいたが、彼の本はこれが初めて。一気に読み通す面白さだった。

クラスでも無口で友達のいない大人しい男の子が、女子クラスメートの豹変をきっかけに怪しい新興宗教にであう。
そこで不思議なソウルメイトみたいな男性に会い、自分も不思議な力を身につける。

ロックの歴史も分からないし、楽器の名称も良く分からなかったが、
高校生ぐらいが大切にする世界観の中から、怪しい宗教世界を分析し、
人間が可笑しくなる課程を冷静に描いている。

LSDによる悟り、セックス、超能力、ロックバンド。。。。
みんな高校から大学ぐらいまでは、こんなことを真剣に考えていたのでは。また未だに真剣に考える人達もいるだろう。。。

うすぼんやり見えてくる宗教の理想世界が、実をいうとすごく現実的なことを読み終えるころに実感できると思う。
