由美が気乗りしないまま参加した合コンの席で、陽子の携帯電話が聞き覚えのない着信音で鳴った。液晶には「着信アリ」の文字。メッセージを確認すると、陽子の悲鳴のような叫び声が録音されていて、着信履歴には2日後の時刻と、発信元として陽子自身の携帯の番号が残されていた。そして、その2日後のその時刻。陽子はメッセージに残されたとおりの悲鳴をあげて不可解な死を遂げてしまう…。終わりのないチェーンホラーの誕生。

映画を見に行く前に小説を見たことがなかったので今回見てみました。
恐怖がしっかり伝わってきて結構面白く読めたのですが、ラストのしまりのなさに「はぁ？」という感じでした。
謎深まりすぎ。余韻残しすぎ。そこまではすっごく面白いんですけどね・・・。

映画に期待します。

自分の携帯に届く自分自身の死間際の言葉。
携帯から携帯へと、まるでウイルスに感染しているように次々と
死の連鎖が続いてゆくストーリは、読み進めるにつれて怖さが増します。
先を読むのが怖いけれど、読まなければ読まないで続きが気になってしまって
結局、中盤以降は一気に読みきってしまいました・・・

書かれているシーンを読みながら頭に思い浮かべると
自分の周りの空気が冷えるような、そんな怖さがありました。

実は、吉村達也さん(ボイスなどの原作者)の著書だと思って買ったのですが・・まちがえた。秋元さんでしたね。失礼。

前半~中盤まではテンポよく読み進むことができました。
面白いです、途中までは。

でもあのラストはちょっとなぁ。これが売れたら続編書いちゃおうという
空気を感じるしとストーリー的にも後味がとても悪い。
#深読みしすぎ？

秋元さんはエッセイは良いのになぁ。残念です。
