作者が用意した少女用メルヘン。基本的には少女が謎を追う冒険劇だが、少女がピンチになると必ず謎の紳士が助けてくれるのだ。題名は少女が指している傘の事で、少女と紳士を結ぶキーワードになっている。

しかし、少女と紳士の関係は最後まで明かされない。あくまで謎の物語として書いて、幻想性を高めたのだろう。思春期の少女にお勧めのメルヘンティックな冒険小説。
