著名な女流作家三浦綾子の夫である三浦光世氏が綾子さんと生きてきた軌跡を回想して書いた本である。この本の所々に挿入されている短歌にはとても美しい夫婦愛が表れており、ほのぼのと読むことができた。人が結婚して苦楽を共にして生きていくことの大切さを誠実に語ってくれる本である。
