堅苦しくなくて、ちょっと不真面目な幸福論。
体の中にすーっと入ってくる感じです。
既成の幸福論ではなくて、そこは寺山修司の世界で満たされています。
私自身、はっとさせられるところが何ヶ所もありました。
キレイ事ばっか書いてるような幸福論にうんざりしている人に
おすすめです。
83年に47才で亡くなった昔の人なのに、なぜか新しい！
引き込まれる一冊です。

こういったタイトルの、つまり、実用性が重んじられた「ような」小説を読む、という行為が好きでなく、「幸福論」はラッセル以来だった。

僕はこの本を読んで、「偶然性を楽しむ心」と、「自分の行為、自分の未来を捉える想像力」の素晴らしさを、自分の思想や体験に照らして、感じることができた。
そこには、自分の内なる欲望に逆らわずに真実を語る「健やかさ」と、書物が伝える思想や歴史など外なる何事にも批判を忘れず、主体的に思想や行動を構築しようとする「逞しさ」がある。
今回改めて自分の思考を捉え、そのうえで、歴史や思想、そして運命について、「何か予め用意されたものがあり、それを受け入れる」ということのつまらなさ、「歴史的事実、優れた思想家の論考、運命のように思える出会い、それらを想像力によって捉え直す」ことの大切さについて、改めて認識できたことには大きな意味があった。
つまり、「実用」的だった。
引用されているヘーゲルやバリュブスや流行歌には馴染みがなかったが、僕のボキャブラリーや想像力の欠如を以てしても、文章から大きな動力を感じ、とても楽しかった。
彼の論がこんな若い僕にとっても、刺激的で清涼に感じられるのは、彼が一貫して「肉体」や「知らぬふり」や「運命」や「地理と歴史」など、生の本質に関わることを偽りなく話すからだろう。

また、雄弁な語り口で論を走らせるにもかかわらず、二の句で見事に文が締めくくりられる、という具合に、ふと、我々はそこに取り残されてしまう。
皆まで語られず、読者がヒラリと交わされるのは、いかにも詩的だと思う。
