不思議なタイトルですね。

金曜日という言葉は特別な響きを感じる。
一週間の中では、onとoffの切り替わりを伝える鐘の音的な曜日だ。
それに続くのは砂糖ちゃんという甘い誘い。
眼を閉じた少女の絵とあわせて、読む前から色々と想像が膨らみました。

これから読まれる方、心してページをめくってください。
いつの間にか、幼い頃の無意識の世界へと足を踏み入れ、
眼を開けたまま、夢をみることになるからです。

ボクは酒井さんの使う黒が好きです。
世の中の喧噪を全て塗りつぶし静かな時を作り出してくれる。
そして、その中でしか聞こえない小さく美しい音に、気付かせてくれるから。

表題作を含め３編の構成になっているのも、ちょうどいいですね。
これ以上続いたら、本の世界からもどって来れなくなるかもしれない…

これは、大人にとっては罪な絵本です。

酒井駒子さんの美しい絵と、かわいらしいお話が充分に堪能できる一冊です。私は砂糖ちゃんを守るカマキリが好きですが、どうしてこの人はこんなに子どもの絵がうまいんだろうと本当に敬服します。持って、眺めているだけでも、駒子ワールドを堪能でき、まさに「眼福」です。この人の絵は筆づかいや色づかいから、本当に描くことを楽しんでいることが伝わってきて、幸せな気持ちになれます。とても質のよい絵本だと思います。

「金曜日の砂糖ちゃん」「草のオルガン」「夜と夜のあいだに」３つのお話が入ってます。
どれも、ノスタルジックで幻想的。少し暗めの色でまるで無声映画のような世界でした。
私は特に「草のオルガン」が好きです。
寂しそうな少年が、空き地でオルガン、バッタ、チョウチョやカラスに出逢って明るい表情になった少年が印象的でした。
なんだか子供の時の事を思い出す、そんなお話達でした。

やっぱり酒井駒子さんの絵は素敵★
