とても素敵な猫のお姫様のお話です。
絵がとても細かく、極細の筆で色の一つ一つが丁寧に描かれています。
色を塗っているというより、絵の具を点で載せて言ってるという感じです。
じつは、この方の絵は絵本での印刷の際に拡大されて印刷されているそうです。

普通、大きく書いた絵を縮小することが多いのですが、この方は、小さな紙に細かい絵をかかれるので、拡大しているそうなのですが、とてもそうは思えません。
あまりに絵が細かいので、むしろ縮小しているのだと思ってしまうほどです。

また、登場する人間や、猫たちの着ている衣装が１着１着異なるデザインをしていることも驚きました。

なにしろ、もともと登場する人物(猫)の数が半端じゃないのです。
とある１ページは二十数人ものお姫様たちの１枚１枚異なるドレスが見事に描かれていて、本当に素敵です。

ぜひご覧になっていただきたい１冊です。
