『ゲド戦記』とどことなく似た感じがあるように思います。
巫女見習いのキアスの勇気と行動力に感動。
夢中になって一気に読んでしまいます。
はじめから最後まで素敵なお話でした。
読み終わったときとても気持ちがよいです。感動と満足と。

　巫女見習いの『キアス』は物語の初めに巫女になれず、神殿を出て行きます。巫女になれなかったショックは大きかったが、キアスは旅立つことを決心します。

　何百年もの間続く、“呪い”を解くために。

　巫女になれなかった見習いが、何百年もの呪いを解くことができるのか・・・。最初はそう思っていました。確かに、キアスには強い力はありません。しかしキアスは、力の差などに負けず、果敢に挑みます！
　そして１年もの間旅をし、アギオン帝国にかかる呪いの秘密を解いていきます。

　・・・ところで、少し疑問に思う『龍使いのキアス』という題名。

龍を呼び出せるのは、巫女の中でも最上位です。しかし今、モールの巫女の力が弱まり、龍を呼び出せる人はいません。
　何故、見習いのキアスが『龍使い』なのか！？
　
　・・・そして、モールの巫女の力が弱まった原因。それは、大切な何かが呪いによって失われてしまったからです。
　その『失われたもの』とは一体！？

　物語は、思いもしない方向へと進んでいきます！！

日本のファンタジーにも、こんな良作がある、と
他の人にも知らせたくなる作品です。

物語の面白さ、独創性だけでなく、
登場人物一人一人が人間らしく魅力的なところが
この作品の大きな魅力でもあります。

分厚い本ではありますが、読みやすい文体なので気軽に読めます。
ファンタジーが好きな人は、読んで損はしません。
