子供（２歳）になるべく絵本を読むようにしているが、僕自身（４０歳）のお気に入りはエリック・カール。とにかく色彩がすばらしい。本書は、それに加えて、あわただしく生きる現代人に「スローライフ」を提案してくれてるようで、大人が読んでも考えさせられるところがある。最後に出演者（動物）が一覧できるのもいい。わが子はお話が終わった後も動物の名前当て遊びで楽しんでいる。

最近心の余裕が無かったんですけど、そんな時にこの絵本はちょうど良かったです。
ゆっくりでいい。
ゆっくり、ゆっくりのナマケモノの生活を見ていると、自然に慌てていた心も落ち着いてきた気がします。

それに、エリック・カール氏の色彩豊かな絵は見ているだけで楽しいです。
２０匹以上出てくる森の生き物たちもみんな印象的で、インパクト大。
ぬぼっとして、愛嬌のある怠け者の顔も見ていて和みます。
余裕の無い人、焦ってる人には特におすすめ。

この　ひびきが　いいでしょ♪

時間が過ぎていったら、どんなにいいでしょう。
＜ゆっくり　のんびり　おっとりと＞、
子どもが大きくなっていったら、どんなにいいでしょう。
後ろの見開きいっぱいに、登場した色とりどりの動物たちが。
さっそく、たーくんは、「このアルマジロは、このページで」、
「このアリクイが、・・・」って探しています。
子どもには、そんな楽しみ方もあるようです。
