２歳の娘の、時計のお勉強用に購入しました。中を開けて見ると、メイシーちゃんシリーズと同様、簡単な英単語と日本語訳が載っています。これは、時計も付いているので、３つのお勉強になります。時計の本は、他にも探しましたが、これが１番かわいらしくて気に入りました。時計の部分は、針をまわすとカリカリと音がして、見た目もかわいらしく出来ているので、プレゼント用にも良いかもしれませんね。

メイシーちゃんシリーズが大好きな２才の娘に、そろそろ時計の読み方と、夜寝る時間が遅くなったりするので生活リズムを整えるためにも購入しました。
「８時に歯磨きして、今日は何を着る？」（洋服の絵がいくつかある中から選ぶ）
「１２時にごはんメイシーちゃん何をたべるの？」（ご飯の絵がいくつかある）といった感じです。

おもちゃの時計がついていて、ぐるぐる回して時間をあわせて遊べます。
英語版の購入も考えたのですが、内容を見たら、英語と日本語両方の文章が書かれていたのでこちらにしました。
別売の「メイシーちゃんのおうち」を使いながら遊べたりして遊びのバリエーションが増えました。

あと、もう少し内容がたくさんあったら良かったのに、という感想もありますが、時計!の分の厚みもあるし、こんなものでしょうか。
時計は、長い針だけ動かせて、短い針は長い針に合わせて動く仕組みです。時計の後ろのカラフルな歯車が見えるようになっていて、時計が動く仕組みがなんとなくわかるようになっています。

英語と日本語で読める、本を読んで選ぶ、時計を読む、時計の動く仕組みを知る、という盛りだくさんの本だと思います。

もともとメイシーちゃんが大好きだったので、ほかの方のレビューを見て｢うちの子はもう4歳だし遅いかなぁ?｣なんて思いながらも購入しました。が、とっても気に入ったらしく、時間にとても興味を示しはじめました。今何時?とよく聞くようになり、この調子でだんだん時計が読めるようになっていけばいいなぁと思っています。時計の中の歯車が回るのが見えるのも、息子の興味を引くようで、とても喜んでいます。
