５歳の息子はパトカー大好き・・将来はおまわりさん希望です。

そんな息子がパトカーの本を見つけた時には・・目がキラリン〜「買って！買って！〜」

息子は読み聞かせている間・・おまわりさんの色々な仕事に「うん。うん」とうなずき・・走るパトカーに「ウーウー、ウーウー」声を出し、すっかりおまわりさんになりきって聞いています。

最後の方で犯人が追い込まれて数十台のパトカーに囲まれるページは沢山のパトカーに大興奮！！

パトカー好きなお子様にはおすすめで〜す。

最後のページの「パトカーの運転席」を紹介するページは一人でよく読んでいます。「サイレンスイッチ、スピードメーター・・etc」

同じ作者の「ピンポンバス」も好きですが、それよりも
起承転結がはっきりとしているので、大変盛り上がれます。
強盗を追いかけるシーンなど、読み方を工夫すれば
男の子はとても喜びます。

もちろん「ピンポンバス」同様、心温まる日常のエピソードも
盛り込まれています。

パトカー以外にも郵便車が現れたり、ヘリコプターが飛んでたり、ごみ収集車がごみを集めていたり、
「パトカーが犯人の車を追いかける」ことの意味が理解できていなくても
2歳1ヶ月の息子は好んでこの絵本を読んで欲しいとせがみます。
いろんな乗り物やいろんな人が出てきて面白いんだと思います。
「ごみ収集車がごみを集めてるねー」とか「公園でボールで遊んでるねー」と本文から脱線しなが読むのもまた楽しいものです。

我が家には同作者同画家の「ピンポンバス」も「はしれ！たくはいびん」もあります。
息子は3つとも大好きで1歳半頃から読んでもらう楽しさを感じて最後までしっかり聞いています。
他の絵本ではこうはいきません。
