次男が生まれて長男がやっとお兄ちゃんらしくなってきた頃、暗記する程読みました。幼稚園に通っていた字の読めない長男も暗記して次男に読んであげていました。絵も可愛らしくて「ぶらんこのせて」と並んで、ノンタンシリーズの大好きな１冊です。

早くから、タイミングがあえばおまるや補助便座で用をたしてくれて、
トイレトレがきっとラクにすむ子だわ~♪と思っていたら、かなりぬか喜びで、
自我が出てきた頃から、絶対におまるには座らない！　と、
むしろ尿意なんかを感じているときのほうがガンコに、断固としておまる等を拒否するようになってしまいました。

おしっこをおまるでするのが楽しい、気持ちいいと思い直してさえくれれば、と、
１歳２ヶ月だった娘と一緒にこの本を読み始めたのですが、
なんとノンタンシリーズは大好きなはずの娘が、
この本は見ただけで逃げ出したり、イヤイヤしたりするようになってしまいました。
もとの目的からすれば、完全に撃沈だったとはいえ、こんな小さい子に、

それだけ理解させるなんて、やっぱりノンタンシリーズはすごい！　と、
改めて感動（？？？）しました。

時間はちょっとかかりましたが、少しずつ拒否反応も薄れてきて、
「しーしーしー」というリズムは楽しんでくれるようになり、
その声を聞いたらおまるやおむつを意識するようになったので、
トイレトレにも、効果があるんだろうなぁと思います。

トイレトレのために購入しました。
ノンタンはじめ、お友達がうんちおしっこ。
娘も、「みんな上手にしっししてるねぇ」と言いながら、見ていました。
３歳を迎える頃には、下の子に読んで聞かせるほど、覚えてしまうくらいお気に入り。
お出かけの時もカバンに入れやすい大きさで助かります。
