装丁が可愛らしく、中の写真も幻想的で想像力がかき立てられます。
写真が本書の良さの半分を占めています。
もう半分の良さは、生活に密着したワインの楽しみ方、日常が活き活きと描かれた文章です。
短い文章ながらも、ワインを通して、ソムリエそれぞれの生活観や思いが表れていて楽しく読むことが出来ました。

ソムリエさんたちへのインタビューが手際よくまとめられ
横にはバランスよくウィットに富んだ写真が添えられる。
この本の見開きの一つ一つが
気の利いた料理とワインの関係のように仕立てられていて
気軽に楽しくワインの世界に遊べる。

ワインの本質論は脇に置いて
「ワイン」というものをどのように捉える事が
今風でお洒落な事なのかということを
ジャーナリストらしく上手く表現（または指南）している

ワインを飲んでみたいんだけど、何を飲んだらいいのか分からない。あるいは安くて旨いワインはないのか？というワイン初心者の方（私もそうですが）にもってこいの本です。
ワインショップ巡りをして本に掲載されているワインを見つけると結構うれしくなります。最近は退勤時間を少し早くして、この本を鞄に忍ばせながら新しいショップを開拓しています。
