人育て、例えば部下、新人、リーダー、女性社員、子供をどう育てるかについて、カルロス・ゴーンがインタビュー形式で答える本。部下、新人、リーダーをいかに育てるかは、他書で類似のことを読んでいたこともあって確認程度だった。最も楽しめたのは、以外にも子供と家庭に関する章。他章にはあまり見られない本音があちこちに垣間みれて可笑しい。一問一答式なのでさらっと読める。

どの職場・どの役職でも問題はあります。なかなか解決しないから
悩み続ける問題に対してカルロス=ゴーンが本書で応えます。

最近僕が考え込んでいた、仕事そのものについては、以下の言葉が
解くヒントを与えてくれました。
　「大切なのは、自分の存在が他者に違いをもたらすということ」
だから、変化や違いを生み出せたら、自身のモチベーションになる、
と。確かに、そのとおりです。このモチベーションの基本条件は
「共感能力」であり、「すべてはそこから始まる」ともあります。
まずは自分から共感を意識してみたいと思っています。

他の悩みや問題についても、カルロス=ゴーンならではの言葉が
満ち溢れています。実績が広く知られている分、他の書籍より言葉
をすんなり受け入れられるのではないでしょうか。

どんな職場・どんなビジネスパーソンでも、絶えずいろいろな問題に直面し、悩みます。そのような悩み続ける問題の相談に対してカルロス=ゴーンが本書で応えています。

ゴーンは、モチベーションの基本条件は「共感能力」であり、「すべてはそこから始まる」と言っています。本書を読むとコストカッターで冷たいイメージだったゴーンが、実はクリスチャンであり、人に対し常に優しいまなざしを持っていることに強い印象を受けます。そこから寄せられるアドバイスは人間に対する温かさに満ちたものとなっています。

その他、本書には、多くの相談について、ゴーンならではの言葉が本書には満ち溢れています。
