アサヒカメラで連載していたものをまとめただけあって非常に中身が濃いです。
この本と比べると従来の入門書はは写真満載でわかりやすいのですが、本を出すために書いた感じがしてそれほど突っ込んだ内容はあまり書いてないような感じを受けます。
一つ一つのテーマをしっかりと掘り下げて説明してあり、一眼レフの使い方がしっかり学べます。

内容もカメラの選び方から始まり、基本である露出、ピント、画面構成やフィルムによる写真の違いまで書かれてあります。
３年間分の連載がこの本に全て詰まっており、この本一冊あれば初心者脱出も早いでしょう。
私は何回も何回も繰り返し読んでます。
一眼レフをこれから始める方も既に始めている方も一見の価値ありです。

コンパクトデジカメを使い続けて3年間正直絞りや露出なんてものを意識したことはなかった。しかし、EOS KISS DIGITALを購入後、｢どうしたら綺麗な写真が撮れるのか？｣と考えた時、わからないことだらけ。そんな時手にした本書、いろいろなことを一眼レフ初心者にもわかるように丁寧に説明してくれている。デジタル一眼にも対応してくれているし、ご丁寧にも｢妻をきれいに撮る｣というコーナーまである。（余談ですが、最も身近なモデルである妻を綺麗に撮ることはいろんな意味でメリット大きいです。）
内容も濃いですし、全ページカラーですし、｢綺麗な写真を撮りたい！だけど、写真の専門的なことは良くわからん｣という方には正直お薦めです。

一眼レフをはじめるひとにぴったりでしょう。わかりやすく、かなり濃い内容が凝縮されています。また、カラーで実例豊富なので、白黒文章ばっかりの本に較べると断然わかりやすく、見てて面白いです。とりあえず一冊という方には手ごろなのではないでしょうか。
