ウィンドウズ付属のペイントってソフトがあるってことは知っていましたが、こんなにいろいろな絵が描けて身近な小物が作れるなんてこの本を読んではじめて知りました！

私は、パソコンと言えば年に一度の年賀状作りと、インターネットで調べものをしたり（これもあまり使えてないけど）、メールぐらいしか使っていなくてなんかもったいない気がしていましたが、この本ではペイントをフル活用するので元が取れた思いです。

既存のCD-ROMから図柄を取ってくるのではなく、一から自分で描いていくのですが、本の通りきちんとやっていくと意外と簡単にできます。ひとつひとつ出来上がっていくのは、結構楽しいですよ。私はあまり手作りは好きなほうじゃなかったですが、最近はまってしまいもう本の半分以上作ってしまいました。

「名刺」「ランチョンマット」「箸づつみ」「ラッピングペーパー」など身近な小物がたくさん紹介されていて、おすすめです。

この本を買って以来、ウィンドウズ付属のソフトペイントで図柄を描いていろいろな小物作りを楽しんでいます。既存のCDーROMから図柄を取ってきて、作るのではなく一から自分で模様を描いていく内容になっています。なので、だんだん図柄が出来てきて、完成すると楽しいのです。私は、けっこう面倒くさがりやなので手作りが好きではなかったのですが、この本の解説の通りやっていくと意外と簡単に出来るのではまってしまい、もう本の半分近く作ってしまいました。作品も作りやすくて、実用的ですてきなものばかりです。手作りが好きな人、パソコンをフルに活用したい人など特におすすめです。
