なんで今まで出会わなかったんだろうと、後悔するぐらいの本です。

自分でも、本書に何度も出てくる、修飾語の語順における４つの原則と、読点の２大原則によって
わかりやすい文章が書けるようになったと思います。
また、文章を構造式に分解して分析する方法も新鮮でした。

とにかく、わかりやすい日本語を書こうと思っている方には、読んで後悔がない本だと思います。

日本語を扱う職業につくなら、この本は読んでおきたい。
主題（は）と格助詞（が）の違い、読点の打ち場所、修飾詞の順序などを論理的に理解することができる。
複雑な日本語技術がシンプルに法則化され、この法則を覚えておけば、誤読の少ない文章を意識的に作ることができる。自分では気づかないミスも減る。この法則を基礎にさらに自分で法則を作るのもよいだろう。
特許書類（特許明細書）を作成する仕事に携わるが、同業者の間でもこの本は有名だ。この本を知らない人はあやしい文章を書いている。
お勧めというよりも、同業者の方であれば、この本の一読は必須でしょう。

　述べたいことを正確に表し、しかも読みやすい文章はどうやって書いたらいいのかが分かる本です。私は弁護士をしていますが、法律文書にはやたらと難しくて分かりにくい文章が多いことを残念に思っています。法科大学院生の必読書として推薦したい1冊です。この本を書き上げた著者の労力に感謝します。
