この本では、『徳島ラジオ商事件』という冤罪事件の
裁判がいかに公平性を欠き、あるまじき判決だったかを
『事実認定』の問題を中心に、怒りを持って解説していました。
裁判官が、判決に都合のいい証拠のみを採用し、
都合の悪い証拠は抹殺したり、論理をねじまげて
被告人に不利な証拠としたり、こんな信じられないことが
裁判で起こるなんて…。
この被告人は、無罪を勝ち取った時、既に亡くなっていました。
失われた時間は戻ることはありません。
著者の緻密な検証の一つ一つが、法律家の持っている
人権感覚への挑戦のように思えました。
