　梅原猛の授業シリーズ「仏教」「道徳」に続く第３弾です。前の２冊は中学生に対する授業でしたが、今回は「朝日カルチャーセンター京都」で行われた大人を対象にした授業です。
　前２回の授業を踏まえた総集編という感じがします。
　大人対象ですが、やさしく説明しておられ、また、各回の授業内容の構成もまとまっていて、仏教の全体像が大変分かりやすく勉強になりました。
　ただ、最後の円空についての授業だけは、梅原氏が今一番興味があることなので、これだけは話さずには居れないという感じが良く伝わってきておもしろかった。

宗教にあまり知識のない私にでも、仏教の素晴らしさを
非常にわかりやすく教えてくれました。
梅原猛さんの育ての親の豪傑エピソードや、
個人的に知り合った生臭坊主の話が出てきたりと、
ライブ感があり読んでいて退屈しません。
この本をきっかけに仏教に興味が湧き、
もっと学びたいという意欲が湧きました。
