5.0 out of 5 stars 明るく前向きな天然王子が大活躍！！, 2009/6/24
クーデター勃発で王領森林に落ちのびた超天然（？）なアンドレア王子の物語第２巻です。
１巻では貴族以外の使用人は物を食べないと思い込んでいた王子も、貧しくつらい国民の生活
に触れ次第に成長していきます。
・・・それだけ聞くとシリアスな成長譚かと想像しますが、紫堂さんならではの軽い日常的な
笑いと魅力的な登場人物達で明るく楽しく読めるのがこの作品の良い所だと思います。

この作品は本当に登場人物達が魅力的だと思います。巻き毛命なアンドレア王子、王子に振り
まわされるお世話係のアロー、２巻では出番の少ないライオネル政務官、今後大注目のギル
バートなど。特に王子は、私の中の大好きなキャラランキングでは１位の「辺境警備」の隊長
さんに迫りそうな勢いです（笑）。
王子の自分の愚かさに気づき、理解して、底抜けに明るい性格でひたすら前向きに行動する姿
には笑わされると同時に本当に励まされます。

内容も巻き毛の王子の出てくるファンタジーと思いきや、社会性もあり、ゴントじいさんの
境遇などは現代社会にも通ずるものだと思います。明るい中にも「どうしようもない現実」が
上手に織り交ぜられています。
とにかく王子の懐の深さと柔軟性には脱帽です。
そしてその爽快さは、私の個人的なつまらない悩みや偏見や不安もドカーンと吹き飛ばしてく
れるようでした。ちなみに私はこの本を読むと元気が出ます！

さて今後、王子はどうするのか、ギルバートはどう行動するのか、など興味は尽きません。
どのように物語が展開するのか楽しみです。個人的には、ぜひ王子が治める国というものが
見てみたいですね。
私にとってこの本は、元気が出る魔法の薬のような存在です。

シリアスな部分、考えさせられる部分、そしてギャグな部分。それが絶妙な作品です。
あまりにもシリアス前面に出されてしまうと疲れてしまうので、その点王子のキャラクターはとてもありがたいですね。
紫堂作品のいいところがとても出ていると思います。
