攻略というよりは問題集です。リスニングを行う上でどのような事に留意して聞くべきか等の記述は少ないです。
リスニングが得意ではない人が（多くの日本人が該当するでしょうが）1冊目に選ぶ本ではないと思います。
ただ本書の長所は解説が比較的しっかり記述されている点です。それと、リスニングのショートカンバセーションで頻出するイディオムを広くカバーしている点です。
ある程度、リスニングの訓練をした人にはいいのではないでしょうか？ただ、まったくリスニングの訓練をしていない人には、多少厳しいような気がします。
なので、もっと英語を聞き込みたい人にはいいと思います。

CD,本書の内容共によく出来ていて、本当に自分なりのペースでリスニングの力をつけていける内容になっていますが、CD-ROMに入っているプラクティステストのレベルが、あまりに低すぎて少し落胆しました。　特にpartB　の　Mini lectureなんて、実際のトフルの問題よりも、かなり短い上にレベルが低く、このプラクティステストとやらで点が取れても、本番で良いスコアを狙っていけるとは、自分にはとても思えませんでした。　

真剣にCBTで２５０以上目指すなら、その他の本を購入する事をお薦めしておきます。

リスニングしたあと問題に答え、解答を見ると「え？そんな答えってあり？」と思わせるような、一瞬解答を読んでいると頭を悩ませる問題が多い感じがします。
これは著者のくせと言ってもいいかもしれません。
リスニングの参考書はいくつか持っていますが、くせがないものからくせに悩ませられるものまで、様々です。
総括として、
１．この本から入ると、TOEFLの問題ってこんなに難しいの？
　　と思ってしまうかもしれません。
２．リスニングの問題量などはありますので、勉強のための
　　参考書のワンノブゼムとしてはいいと思います。
