表紙のデザインが良い。
本文のレイアウトも見やすく、辞書を何度も引くことになる初心者の私でも、読むのに苦にならない量の説明。
しかし、決して少なくはないし、また、類例も十分。読めば語の感じが掴める。
発音記号に加えカタカナ読みも載っており、英語の意味もある。
英語の意味がわかれば、解説を精読せずに語の感覚が掴め、英語の確認・フランス語の習得、かつ日本語も見るので、理解が深まる。
実際、ノートに書き込む時も英語で書いたり、フランス語の類語を書き込むと語学習得に効果的なので、初学者に適した辞書と言える。自分も含め。
ただ、語源は載っていないので、語源が知りたい方は他の辞書。

書店で他の辞書と見比べて買いました。
1時間くらい見比べたでしょうか？

例文が豊富なことや、単語の重要度によって色分けや字の大きさを変えているところが学習初心者の私に向いていると思いました。
この辞書よりも少しランクが上のものになると重たくなりますから持ち運びが大変だと思います。

それに、学習を始めたばかりの時には中辞典や机上タイプの大型のものは向かないと思います。
その言語への理解度に合わせて辞書は買い換えるものだと思っていますのでこれの辞書を使い倒した後にワンランク上のものに買い換えようと思っています。

映画や歌のタイトルが紹介してあることもこの辞書を購入した理由のひとつです。

お気に入りのフランス映画のタイトルを見つけるととても嬉しくなって勉強への意欲がわいてきます。
字幕無しで映画を見てみたいなんて本気で思うようになるんです。

付属のCDもアクセントの練習に役立ちます。
付録の和仏辞書も便利ですが、いずれ和仏辞書もきちんと買わなければいけなくなるでしょう。

学習意欲をかき立てる辞書です。

文字も見やすく、類語も載せられているのでとても使いやすい一冊です。巻末には日本語索引もあり、ちょっとした和仏辞典にもなっています。付録には発音・会話集の入ったCDもついていて、初心者にも使いやすい辞典だと思います。お勧めです！
