何故これが児童書なのか？と、ちょっともったいなく思います。
人間の成長のお話しなのでモチロン非常に優れた児童書ではありますが大人が読んで全く遜色ありません。
一冊づつのお話のレヴューは他にみな詳しく書いてあるので特にここで書きませんがゲド戦記をまだ読んだ事がない方、５册まとめて買っても絶対損はいたしません。

ファンタジーな世界を舞台にはしていますが人間の心理を克明に描いた秀作です。
特に生身の女性の心理を描いている時のル・グィンの筆は冴え渡っています。

　これは傑作です。こんど、ジブリで３巻めが映画化されるので、このチャンスに読んでみてくださいね。アメリカのファンタジー小説の古典です。一見地味な話ですが、とっても、深い話です。大人になってから読みましたが、すごく、おもしろいです。私は２巻めが好きかな。テナーというヒロインが大好きです。どこから読んでもおもしろいです。ただ、４巻めからはどちらかといえば、大人を意識していうのか、むずかしいです。
