5.0 out of 5 stars バン・マリー（湯煎）のような随筆, 2008/5/27
久びさにいい本を読んだ。バン･マリー、元々は錬金術師マリーという人が由来であるそうだが、「湯煎」の意味だそうです。
一見、コアなフランス文学などの話があってむずかしい本のように思えるが、わからない話はそのまま読み進めると
堀江の日常の体験がユーモアとペーソスで語られいて入りこんでしまう。まさに、バン･マリー(湯煎)のような堀江ワールドであった。
こういう本が多くの人に読まれて欲しいと切に思う。商業ベースに毒されていない本っていいもんだなぁ。
私も堀江と同じくツルツルのブックカバーの汗ばんだ感触が嫌なんですが。そういえば、堀江の本は
汗を吸いとるカバーで心地いいね。そういう気配りもあるんだな。
本の装丁もシンプルで右下隅のイラストが何だと思ったら、湯煎に使われる鍋類だった。

『バン・マリー』とは湯煎のことで、この命題は直火を当てないように柔らかく包み込むように、散文集全体にわたって貫かれている。最後の渡り鳥についての記述にしてもキーワードとなって出てくるのだ。
いつものことながら堀江さんの美しい日本語にうっとりする。欲に囚われた生活をしていて、何かすっきりと澱を洗い流したい時、堀江さんの文章に助けをもとめるのだ。
『思い出を持つだけでは十分ではない。思い出が多くなったら、それを忘れることができなければならない。再び思い出がよみがえるまで気長に静かに待つ辛抱がなくてはならない。思い出だけでは十分ではないからである。思い出は僕たちのなかで血となり、眼差となり、表情となり、名前を失い、僕たちと区別がなくなったときに、恵まれたまれな瞬間に、一行の詩の最初の言葉が思い出のなかに燦然と現れ浮かび上がるのである。』

一歩引くと、時系列上にものの優劣関係なんて存在しないことに気付く｡
それがﾊﾞﾝﾏﾘｰ(湯煎)｡
50年前のｻﾝﾄﾞｲｯﾁ､焼き芋､昭和の小説…
精神を自由にたもって､それらを湯煎に通してやると､
興味深い事象がわきあがる。。

との書評に惹かれて､読んで､すんませんやぱ難しかって、
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　挫折したんだけど｡ (ぉぅぃ｡)

文章のﾘｽﾞﾑとかﾑｰﾄﾞがｽｷで無理やり読むんだけど､
やぱﾎﾘｴﾑｽﾞｶｼｲﾈ↓↓

めぐらしとか雪沼とかもののはずみあたりのﾚﾍﾞﾙで､
もっと書いて下さい｡
ﾎﾘｴ好きなのは確かなので｡
