感じたことは、熱力学の入門としては大変良く、読んで損はしないでしょう。ただし、統計についての議論は飛ばして、他のテキストにしてください。ページ数が少ないので、統計力学まで含むとかなり中途半端なまま終わってしまい、余計にわかりません。ただしもう一度言いますが，熱力学の入門としては合格ではないかと思います。読みながら一緒に手を動かせば、つまる所はないでしょう。章末問題も、学校のテストなどで狙われやすい一般的なものです。

どうも。kapuraです。

　
熱・統計力学の参考書探しには、本当に苦労させられました。
「そういった経験があるだけに、もうダメか？」と思っていました。
この本に出会うまでは、もうこの分野の勉強やめようかと考えたくらいです。
そんな感じで、今までの参考書が独学には重すぎたのです。
　
　
ところで、
入門書と言われる参考書は嫌になるほどあります。

そこで、「入門書のための入門書を探そう」となったわけです。


そう入門書のための入門書なのです。
熱・統計力学を勉強したいと言う人には最適だと思います。

本書を基礎に、次に進んでいけば良いと思います。
ちなみに、これは問題と解答がセットで付いています。

１度御覧になって下さい。

「理論電磁気学（紀伊国屋書店）」などで有名な、故・砂川重信先生が書かれた岩波書店「物理の考え方」シリーズの第三巻。

この本は熱・統計の知識が全く無い私でも読み進められました。収録されている問題数も少なすぎず多すぎず、また解答も丁寧に書かれています。
「熱力学・統計力学に初めて取り組むんだけど、どれがいいんだ？」という方にお薦めします。
