頻繁に雑誌で特集されていた若く美しかったあのころから、ライブエイドを経て再び脚光を浴び、その後悲劇的に走り去ってしまったＱＵＥＥＮが、時間をかけ新しいボーカルで迎えたライブまでの写真集です。何度も見とれてしまうページがあります。

Queenの写真集は古本でもとても高いですが、このクオリティーでこの価格はQueen & Freddie ファンで購入しない手は無いでしょう。
過去の写真集とならべても上位に属すると思います。Queen のオールドファンは高くて写真集に手が出なかったのでとても嬉しく思いますし、必携だと思います。

デビューからＱＵＥＥＮ＋ポール・ロジャースまでの歴史をコンパクトに年代順にまとめた写真集です。
どの時代の写真も思わず微笑んだり、しんみりしたりとビギナーから長年のファンまで充分楽しめる内容になっています。

個人的に思い入れがあるのが７７年〜８２年頃のＱＵＥＥＮ。
本書で言うとちょうど中頃のＰ４０〜Ｐ７３の辺り。
この頃の彼らはチャレンジ精神旺盛でライヴも脂が乗りきった、ＱＵＥＥＮが最もＱＵＥＥＮらしく飛躍していた頃・・
この頃のＱＵＥＥＮ・・フレディ・・本当にカッコ良かった・・
この辺りを読んでると、朝から晩まで毎日ＱＵＥＥＮ漬けで夢中になってた青春時代が鮮やかに甦り、
とてもノスタルジックな想いに浸ってしまいました。

洋書ですが英語も小難しくなく読み飛ばせますし、お値打ちな価格だと思います。
ファンの方にはお薦めいたします。

こういう写真集がなかなか無くて、初めて手に入れて感激しました!何度でも見入ってしまいます、今夜はQUEENを聞きながらゆっくり見ます。
