最近，彼の楽器を日本の某ギターショップで見かけました．現役のギター製作家自身による著書で，クラシック・ギターの製作を志す人にとって参考になる入門書のひとつです．平易な英語で読みやすく，手頃なページ数のわりに図版や写真が豊富です．はじめは電動工具をなるべく使わず，お金をかけずシンプルに手作りするのを奨めており，工具や材料集めから仕上げまでひととおり学べます．独創的な治具や工夫が製作上のヒントになるでしょう．ただ，あまり一般的でないユニークな技法や工程も述べているので，ギター製作に関するほかの本も併読すると良いようです．
