メイシーちゃんとお友達がキャンプに行って夜眠るまでのお話です。
お友達とわいわいちょっとしたハプニング？の後に自然の中で気持ちよさそうに眠る姿は、子供が夜寝る前の読み聞かせにいいかもしれません。
英語が苦手な私でもCDで発音を確認できるので助かります。
CDは楽しいチャンツや歌やゲームも入っていて、子供が遊んでいる時にただかけ流ししておくだけでもおもしろいです。
いくつかのゲームはまだ私には理解できなくて、もう少し英語が理解できるようになったら子供と楽しみたいです。
いろいろな楽しみ方が出来てお得です。

ねずみのメイシーちゃんが、お友だちの動物達と一緒に田舎にキャンプにやって来て、みんなで協力してテントを立てます。夜になってキャンプファイヤーを楽しんだあと、一人ずつテントに入っていくのですが、5人の仲間が入るとテントはギュウギュウ；；；
寝ているうちに、象のエディに、一人ずつ押し出され・・・最後は象のエディが一人でテントで、他の4人は星空の下、寝袋で、平和に眠りました、、、というオチになっています。
このテントに一人ずつ入っていく様子、一人ずつ押し出される様子の表現が、ＣＤを聞くとなかなか面白くて、朗読のテンポも良いので（当然ＢＢＣEnglishですが）、大人が聞いていてもなかなか楽しい。
そしてこのＣＤには本編以外に、ゲーム（誰が何をしたかを当てる）など本編をヒントにした朗読も数編入っていて、夫はそれが面白いと申しております。

こんなにかわいくて、CDを聞きながら始めての英語の本…。ひらがな、カタカナが上手に読めるようになった４歳の姪っ子にプレゼントしようと思い購入しましたが、一度聞いてみようと開いてみたら…私が先にはまってしまいそう！　英語で書かれた本を読み聞かせるなんてちょっと難しいと思っていましたが、これなら一緒に楽しめそう！
