高い本なので中身を見て買いました。
古びた物、アンティークな物が好きな人にはたまらないと思います。
そしてよかったと思ったことがちゃんと和訳されている物を買ったことです。

写真だけでも参考になるだろうと思って本屋では洋書コーナーばかりあさっていたのですが和書の方に和訳された物が置いてあり、そしてその文自体も参考になったのでこれを買ってよかったと思いました。

私は自然素材が好きです｡
木であったり石であったり鉄であったり･･･
それは朽ちていっても錆びていってもそれが味になるからです。

そういう風に思う人だったら絶対に買って損はしないと思います。
ジャンク･･･つまりガラクタこそ宝物のようです。
何回見ても飽きないので毎日眺めてます。

「JUNK」って『がらくた』という意味らしいのですがカントリーインテリアのお手本になるという事で購入したのですが、開けてびっくり本当にがらくたと思えるほど時代を重ねた家具がてでくるんです。ひびわれしていたり、ペンキがはげていたり。でも普段の暮らしの中にとけこんでいるものばかり。すててしまうような空き容器に草花をいけてみたり‥。毎日のくらしを見直してみようかと思わせてくれます。写真はみていて「こんな素朴な感じに暮らしてみたい。」と思わせられます。

「PURE　STYLE」のようなインテリアが好きな私にとって
この本はとってもよかったです。きれいに古びたものや本当のがらくたみたいなものなどいろいろでてきますが、じょうずにインテリアにとりいれればこんなに素敵になるんだなあ・・と参考になりました。

全部というわけではないのですがモデルの雅姫さんのライフスタイルが好きな方は共感できるのでは・・と思います。
