日本語が出来、日本の最新情報に明るいとおぼしい作画担当のフレッド・ギャラガーが描く東京には、リアリティがある。しかし、主人公ふたりは現代アメリカの若者として、あまりに子供っぽ過ぎないだろうか？　ゲームとビールのことしか考えていないラーゴに、好みの女の子と遭遇しただけで赤くなってしまうピロ。とても20歳過ぎには見えない。自分達をモデルにしたそうだけど。

可愛い女の子（ブスは、ひとりもいない）と守護天使、アンドロイドにわけの分からないマスコットキャラまで登場し、好きなものをとりあえず全て描いて見たという感じ。メガ・シティ東京で、大卒、無職＆オタクのメリケンふたり組はどうやって生き延びるのか。今後の展開が、気になる。
