内容物は
・"Secrets of Learning a Foreign Language"(CD 3枚分、3時間)
・"Learn in your car FRENCH"(CD 9枚分、8.7時間)
・ブックレット４冊("Secrets of Learning a Foreign Language"の分、"Learn in your car FRENCH"のレベル１ーレベル３の３冊分)：新書判よりやや小さめ。ページ数もレベル１ーレベル３の分は約５０頁程度、"Secrets ..."の方は約２０頁程度。胸ポケットに軽く収まります。
・ＣＤキャリーケース（１２枚のＣＤが入ってましたが、あと１２枚分入る余裕があります。先のブックレットも入れる余地があります）

ＣＤキャリーケースは、結構しっかりした作りでした。"Secrets of Learning a Foreign Language"は、これだけ単独でも販売されているようですが、得した気分でした。もともとはEnglish-speaker向けの内容ですが、英語が話せるようになった日本人が第２外国語・第３外国語へと勉学を進める際に、参考になる内容が含まれています。(英語の語源に詳しい方は、ああこれくらいなら知ってるょ、という内容かもしれませんが) この著者の各国語の話し分けは聞き応えがありました。

フランス語の教材をiPodで聞いていると、英語(男性の声)とフランス語(女性の声)がそれぞれ片方のイヤホンのみから聞こえます。(ＣＤプレーヤーでは気付かなかったです)最初聞いた時にはビックリしましたが、今は慣れました。

"French: The Complete Language Course (Learn in Your Car) (CD)" (ASIN: 1591252083) の姉妹編で，次の構成です。

- オーディオCD計12枚: Step 1から3まで3段階，各Stepごとに名詞，形容詞，動詞，熟語がそれぞれ1枚のCDに収録されています。それぞれの単語，熟語について，仏語 - 英語，英語 - 仏語の順番で読み上げられます。バロックやモーツァルトの曲がBGMとして効果的に使われています。

- CD-ROM 1枚: Stepごとの単語リストのPDFファイルを収録しています。上記Learn in Your Carのような小冊子はありません。パッケージには7500語とありますが，単語リストに掲載されているのは約5000語程度です。また，PDFファイルは紙面のイメージファイルなので，文字の検索やコピーはできません。

- Learn in Your Carのようなキャリングケースはなく，CDはすべてスピンドルケースに重ねて収納されています。

単に単語を覚えただけでは使いこなすことはできませんが，多読や多聴とうまく組み合わせて活用すれば，短期間にまとまった単語を整理するのには大変有効です。

同じ Henry N. Raymond による、「French Complete (Learn in Your Car) (CD)」（ISBN・ASIN: 1591252083、Reissue版、2002年12月、定価は同じ）とは少し違います。

この2005年７月発行のPackage版は、ＤＶＤのデジパックを2.5倍くらいの厚さにしたようなケースに、ＣＤが10枚が重ねて入っているのみです。紙のテキスト等はありません。ＣＤは、レベル１〜３が各３枚と、リスニング・ガイド１枚の、計10枚です。レッスンは、レベル３までで計106個。リスニング・ガイドは、テキストのPDFファイルが入っているＣＤ−ＲＯＭです。

2002 年版に入っているらしい、ブックレットや、「Secrets of Learning a Foreign Language」ＣＤ３枚（ISBN・ASIN: 1591252288（$19.95）と同じもの？）などはついてません。

たいへん満足していますが、唯一の不満点は、フランス語の女性の音声が変な感じであることです。特に最初のほうです。でも、聞いてるうちに慣れました。Pimslerのほうが、自然な感じで好感が持てました。あと、PDFは、若干斜めになっているページがありますが、使うのに問題はありません。
