透明石けん作りのプロセスもカラー写真で載っているのでわかりやすいです。用語の説明がていねいで、トラブルシューティングもあり親切な本だと思います。

表紙からきれいな色使いの石鹸がありますが
中もきれいな写真があって、透明石鹸の作り方について
詳しく説明されています。
とびきり難しい英語はあまりなく、
比較的読みやすいかと思います。

基材について、一つづつ詳しい説明があり
透明石鹸を作る上で基材を理解するのに
参考になりました。
電動ソープカッターや、ソープミキサーの作り方があって
ちょっと面白かったです。

透明石鹸は、数回作れば飽きてしまう(苦笑)ので
出番は少ない本かもしれませんが
ある程度石鹸を作っている人は、透明石鹸をちゃんと理解するために
一読の価値はあると思います。

本の構成はカラーフォトと文面の割合がとてもよく、ひきつけられ細部まで読み込んでみたくなります。難しい箇所はあまり無いですが手先の器用な初心者にも向いています。メルトポアの書籍をみていると実に勤勉に細かい作業をしている人がいますが、この人もかなり。おはじきくらいの花形の中心をくりぬいて数ミリの穴に別の色を溶かし込むあたり、、、
またお約束のオモチャ入りや写真入、切手入りなど、まぁ何でもかんでも良く入れるわと感心しました（作らないけどね、多分）。
