チベットの仏壇のPop-Up Book 。
なかなかPop-Up Bookですばらしい物にめぐりあうのはむずかしい。
ギミックとして感心できる物か、内容が素敵な物かになってしまうのである。
この本は、まさしく両方を兼ね備えている本だ。
チベットの神様が次々立体であらわれて(イメージ的には七福神)眺められる。
宗教心がなくても、神様すきなわたしはうれしい、紙の神さまカタログである。
あぁ、日本の竜神さまや雷神さまもほしい。
英語だけど、買って損はない本である。
ぱちぱち。

チベット関連の書籍を探していて偶然見つけたのですが、いや〜こんな楽しい物があるとは思っていませんでした。

チベット仏教の神様（５種）がそれぞれ解説付きで「飛び出す絵本」になっています。そりゃぁ本物のタンカとは違いますが、色使いがいい感じに渋くてポップ。観音開きになっている外側のカヴァーがシッカリしているので、好きな神様のページを開いて角についているゴムで止めれば、ミニ簡易祭壇になります。

重々しい書籍もいいけれど、これも同じくらいチベットの神々が身近に感じられます。

　極彩色のチベット仏教の飛び出す絵本式の仏壇なのですが、あまりに色彩が綺麗なのと、絵が綺麗なのとで感激してしまいました。
　信心深いからではなく、美術品として買ってみたのですが、とても完成度の高い商品だったのでおもわず敬虔な気持ちになってしまいそう。

　この良さをわかってくれる人ならプレゼントとしても喜ばれそうです。
　簡単な英文の説明文と、お祈りするときの「マントラ」が、仏像ごとに書いてあるのですが、英語標記なのでなかなかおしゃれです。
