癌になった友人のために治療法を調べていてマックス・ゲルソンという医者を知りました。過去に難病と言われた多くの病気の原因は栄養や代謝の問題だったという事実があります。理論的で説得力があります。医学界からは異端視されているのかもしれませんが、病気にかからないためにも、生活習慣を見直すためにも、多くの事を考えさせられる一冊でした。私自身過去に手術や大量の投薬で身体を傷つけ、体力を大いに消耗した経験があります。もしもまた将来難病と闘わなければならない状況になったら、迷わず実践するでしょう。
