    全部で7つのお話（内一つは８才の子が書いたかわいい詩）が入っています。英語を習いにきている子供達に適当に日本語も混ぜて読んだのですが、全員が気に入ったのが"The Green Ribbon"。いつも首に緑のリボンを巻いているジェニー、その訳は・・・・結構ぞくっときます。小学２年の男の子が、この話を聞いた夜はトイレへ一人で行くのが怖かったと言っていました。

    低学年や幼児にはすこし刺激がありすぎるかも。。でも刺激を
    求める怖い物好き高学年にはもってこいの一冊です。
    歯の長いおじさんが次々に現れるお話は正直、なーんだ！あんまり
    怖くないねって感じでしたが、その後に読んだグリーンリボンは
    読み終わった後にシーン・・・（最後のページは絵をカードか何かで
    隠したら効果的です！）もっと読んで！って言われました。
    たのしいハロウィーンでもちょっと趣向を変えてこんなお話も
    盛り上がるかも。。。の１冊です。怖ーい音声が入ったテープも
    効果的！
