サブダのPOP-UPが好きで集めていましたが、子どもにはちょっと複雑すぎて、「取り扱い注意！」という感じでした。この本は、特にストーリーがある訳でなく、鮮やかな色彩のなかに、トータル６００個の黒い丸があるという単純なもの。でも、ページをめくった瞬間の楽しさはなかなか。うちでは２才から８才の子どもたちが大喜びでめくってます。値段も手頃だし、造りもしっかりしてるので、子どもだけで読んでいても安心かな。

いわゆる「飛び出す絵本」だが、
無茶苦茶シュールで芸術的な大人向けの飛び出す絵本。

ページを繰るごとに
黒い点をモチーフとした
現代美術のようなオブジェが立ち現れる。

サイケデリックで幻惑的、複雑な形をしたそのアートワーク達は、
そのままページを開きっぱなしにして部屋を飾ることも出来そうだ。
つらつらと“black spots”を数えるも良し、
部屋を訪れたひとにこんな本あるんだよ、と見せてあげるもよし。

高めも値段設定も、内容のユニークさに見合ったものだと思う。
オススメです。

それぞれのページ全て良くできています。
洋書ならではの、日本人の感覚とはまた違ったおもしろさがあります。
子供のために買いましたが、立体的な部分に手が伸びてぐしゃぐしゃにしてしまいそうで、
まだ見せていません。
できれば赤ちゃんの時に見せてあげたいのですが、
小学生以上になると、落ち着いて楽しめる内容だと思います。
