いままでのものより、断然バージョンアップで、お得感があって満足です。シルバーがポイントにたくさん使われて華やかになりました。そして、最後のページは今までになかったまったく新しい部分で、電飾までしこまれていて、圧巻！おまけの鳥かごもかわいくて素敵。表紙も布張りで、中には真っ赤なベルベットまで使用されていて高級感が増しました。プレゼント用にも最高だと思いますが、私は自分が宝物にしたくて買いました。

絵本を開いたとたんに子供達がウワァ〜っと歓声をあげました。その繊細さ、精密さ、予測できないすごさに、たかが飛び出す絵本でしょ？と思っていた私がすっかり虜になってしまった程です。最後のページがまた圧巻で、絵本からツリーが飛び出し、オマケにライトまで！スゴイの一言です。絶対お勧めです。プレゼントにも喜ばれるのは間違いないです。この絵本を読んであげた子供達はきっとクリスマスになるとこの本の事を思い出してくれると思います。

既刊の名作の10周年Anniversary版です。でも、ただの新装版ではなくて追加がすごい。大ボリュームの見開きが追加され、本の印象をずいぶん変えています。本文が白基調だったところに飛び込むフルカラーページにもかかわらず、全体のバランスを崩しているわけではありません（ネタバレになるので詳細は書きません）。また、本文中にもある「鳩のかご」が新作のオーナメントとしてオマケについているのもうれしい（本文よりやや小ぶりですが、飾れるように半身ではなく全周版です）。通常版より少し高いですが、これから買うならこちらをお勧めします。
