香りをもついわゆる”センテッドゼラニウム”についてまとめられた数少ない貴重な本。と言っても、体裁は小冊子です。
内容は、個々の種について特徴，作出の由来などが簡単にまとめられたもの。取り違えの起きている種については、現段階で考えられる可能性がコメントされています。

残念な点は、まずカラー写真が一切無いところ。あるのはモノクロの葉の写真だけ。それも全種載っているわけではないので、品種を同定する為に使う資料にはなりづらい。
それから、イギリスでまとめられた為、日本で流通している品種は無い場合があるのもマイナスポイント。

とは言え、国内で出ているペラルゴニウムを扱った本でここまで詳しく解説されているものは無いので、やはり貴重な冊子だと言えます。
