3.0 out of 5 stars こころ/kokoro - 夏目漱石 natsume souseki, 2002/1/15
The most famous writer, natsume souseki is still loved by many people in all over the world. This book is about a man who Souseki called 'sensei' which means a teacher or doctor. His detailed description of people, people'sminds never make the readers get bored, I am sure about it. This book also express well the Japanese culture in Meiji era. The virtue of silence,
let's to say it is what recent Japanese people are getting lose.
The events that happened to Sensei such as suicide are pretty against such silence but we can see why there is such silence in Sensei's mind behind such incidents. I like reading books but this book is something that I was missing to read. And it made a big impression at the beginning of this year.
