　この本は、TOEFLの準備に役立ちます。

（長所）

　・実際の問題を知ることができ、試験対策をたてられる。

　・問題が、９８０問（試験７回分）と豊富。

　・リスニングのスクリプトがすべてある。

　（短所）

　・CBTと問題形式が少しことなる。（すべて、PBT形式）

　・解説が、１回のテスト分しかない。

（まとめ）

　・CBT形式で、実際のtoeflと同じくらいの難易度の問題集は、多くは、出版されていないみたいなのでこのテキストは、やる価値はあるとおもいます。さらに、別のCBT形式の問題集をやっておけば、CBT形式になれると思います。最後に、ほとんどが、解答のみなので、別の教材で、ある程度できるようになってから、始めた方が良いかもしれません。

ETSの公式教材で、本物のTOEFLの問題にこれほど多数当たれる教材は他にありません。下手にTOEFLに似せた問題を解くより、本物の原典を解くという価値はあると思います。一通り解くとTOEFLがいかに他の英語試験に影響を与えているかという事が見えてくるような気がします。

ただしいろいろな意味で「TOEFLの過去問」なので、ある程度のレベルに達していない方が独学で安易にスコアを上げようという目的で購入しても「難しい」「解説が少ない」というだけで終わってしまうかもしれません。

問題そのものは良問が揃っており、リスニング、リーディングとも興味深いトピックが多数含まれています。

ETSが公式に出版しているということで購入しました。

[リスニング]
・スピードも適度で、少し声のトーンにクセを感じますが本番への慣れができます。(CDの録音レベルは低めですが、音量を上げれば問題はありません)
・長文リスニングには、フランチャイズ・コーヒー店やthatch(屋根ふき材料)等、一般的な話題から学術的なものまで幅広く扱っています。

[文法]

・公式問題だけありかなり丁寧に作りこまれています。一見他問題集と似通った点を感じますが、シンプルでありながら功名に埋め込まれた問題の質は、やはり公式問題だと感じました。

途中経過の実力判定として使用することでモチベーション持続もでき、かなり使える本だと感じます。
