Wee SingシリーズのＣＤは今のところ「Bible」「Sing-along」「Halloween」「Christmas」「ﾅｰｻﾘｰﾗｲﾑ&ﾗﾗﾊﾞｲｽﾞ」を持っていますが、そのなかではこの「for Baby」が一番気に入っています。前半はかわいらしい子供の声で歌われるかわいらしい歌ばかり(特に１曲目の"Babyland"がかわいくて大好きです)、後半はやさしいテンポのララバイになっています。現在うちの娘は１歳７ヶ月ですが、"peek-a-boo"の声を聞いてＣＤに合わせて完璧な発音で(それもかわいい声で)"I see you!"と言っています。もっともっと早いうちにこのＣＤに出会いたかったなあと思いました。

あかちゃん意外にもおすすめ！（あかちゃんには、もちろん。）Wee　Singシリーズの他のタイトルと比べて、ゆっくりめで歌っているので、こちらのほうが、日本人の子供には、向いていると思います。どの曲もおかあさんとあかちゃんや子供たちが愛情と、やさしさに満ち溢れた、ひと時を過ごせる、手遊びなどのアイディアが盛りだくさんです。曲が、オルゴール調や、アコースティックなのも、気に入っています。

5.0 out of 5 stars 2歳までのレッスンにおすすめ, 2004/5/17
2歳までの英語レッスンで毎月3~4曲使っています。
たとえば、有名な「Hickory, Dickory, Dock」ではお母さんが子供の頬に
チュッとするなど、親子のスキンシップが取れる遊びがいっぱいです。
生徒には購入してもらっていますが、「すごくかわいい~」と好評です。

7ヶ月のうちの子に聞かせながら、遊ぶと笑って喜びます。
聞きなれてくると、歌詞と音符を見ながら歌ってあげられるので、ママの英語も、上達するかな？
