Wee Singシリーズは、子供たちに英語を好きになってもらいたいと思うすべての人のmustです！
２歳の娘と楽しめる英語の歌のCDを…と探していて１タイトル購入して以来、その魅力にはまりとうとうシリーズ全部そろえてしまいました。
２歳後半になってくると、いくつかの曲は一緒に口ずさんでいます。もちろんそれ以下のお子さんにとっても、とても優しいメロディーラインなので掛け流しBGMにもぴったりです。
この"The Best"には…
"If You're Happy", "Row,Row,Row Your Boat", "Head and Shoulders", "Take Me Out to the Ball Game", "Hickory,Dickory,Dock", …, "Twinkle,Twinkle,Little Star"まで、各タイトルから選りすぐりの４６曲が入っています。
他のタイトルに比べるとやや曲数は少なめかしら…。
でもWee Singの最初の1タイトルを選ぶなら、この"The Best"もしくは"Children's Songs and Fingerplays"がお勧めですし、この１タイトルからWee Singの世界を広げていかれるといいと思います。
たっぷりの曲が入ったCD１枚と全曲紹介されたbooklet１冊。("The Best"のブックレットは他のタイトルとは大きさが異なってきています)
本当にお勧めです！

いろいろあるWee singのタイトルの中から人気のある曲を集め構成されています。
Row, Row, Row Yor Boat. / Head and Shoulders. / Eentsy Weentsy Spider./ Ring Around the Rosy./Rain, Rain Go Away. / Old MacDonald Had a Farm. などなど、基本的なこどもの歌満載です。
アレンジはうるさくなく車でかけていてうっとうしくないタイプ。

楽譜も一緒についているので親が歌詞をしっかり聞き取れなくても、楽譜を見て歌うこともできます。
はじめて子供用の英語の歌CDを。と考えている方に特にお勧めです。
