タイトルは「Shadow of the Colossus」となっていますが、
これは「ワンダと巨像」の欧米版（北米版？）タイトルです。
ということで、この本はおそらく日本で言う「攻略本」にあたります。
内容は、大半がシーンごとの画像に説明文を加えたものです。
効率の良い動き方や急所の図解、攻撃の手順などかなり細かく解説されています。
中学や高校でひととおり英文法を習ったかたならほとんど理解できるでしょう。
私は・・・(..;)お恥ずかしながら学校で習った英語はほとんど忘れてしまいましたし、かといって辞書片手に解読する気力もなく・・・(^◇^;)

それでもこの本をお薦めするのは、何と言ってもその美しさです。
一応「ペーパーバック」なのですが、「ハードカバー本」にしてほしいくらい美麗な内容です。
特に巻末にいくつかある見開きのグラフィックは圧巻！
これだけで「買って良かったー」と思いました。（笑）
また、かなり大きめの折り込みで「設定資料」のようなものもありました。
一冊で攻略本と設定資料集とビジュアルブックを兼ねているような感じです。
そんなわけで、「ワンダと巨像」がお好きな方の永久保存本としてぜひいかがでしょうか。

海外の攻略本を見た事がないのと、ワンダが好きだから本が
欲しいという事で購入しました。

英語さえ分かれば、日本の攻略本より巨像の倒し方が
しっかりと詳しく解説されていますよ。
ペーパーバックですが、それ程表紙もやわではないので
(それでも乱暴に扱えばすぐ曲がりそうですが・・・)、
あまり気になりません。

また写真も大きい物が多いので、純粋に写真集としても
楽しめると思います。
特に半ページ全部使っての巨像との対峙シーンは圧巻です＾＾
ちょっとした小技やおまけも詳しく解説してあるので、
ワンダが大好きな方は、是非。

英語が大の苦手で買うのを迷っていたのですが、
｢買ってよかった!｣と思いました。

まず思った以上の大さと分厚さにびっくり!
全ページに渡って他では見たことのない設定資料や、
美しいグラフィックで彩られています。

他の方も書かれていますが、
小さな｢小技｣まで画像付きで説明されているので
英語が苦手な方でも充分に楽しめると思います。
巨像を一体倒すごとに流れるムービーも詳細に解説されてます。
海外の攻略本って物凄い充実してるんですね…
これでこのお値段は安すぎるくらいです！
ワンダと巨像ファンの方は、是非是非手にとって見て下さい！
