　かわいい表紙。ちょっとエッチなタイトル。自分を、「良く言えばふくよか、それ以外はうんざりするほど月並み」だと思ってる、28歳のヒロイン。よくあるラブコメかなと思ったら、違いました。
　いや、ラブコメとしても、ちゃんとおもしろいのです。笑えて、ドキドキできて、おもしろい。読んでるだけでわくわくする、おしゃれやグルメや恋の話題たっぷり。
　だけどこの本で起こる出来事は、ラブコメで起こりうる範囲を超えています。ラブコメでは「そんな都合のいいことあるわけない」ってこと、よく起こりますが、この本のは特にすごい。おとぎばなしみたいに、ゴージャス。かつ、おとぎばなしみたいに、残酷。すごくおもしろいのですが、私がこの本が好きなのは、展開がはちゃめちゃなせいだけではありません。
　普通のラブコメって、「恋が実れば幸せになれる」って感じに書かれています。どんなにリアルな展開でも、「彼氏ができてめでたしめでたし」なんて、まるでおとぎばなし。
　この本は、そんなラブコメによくある嘘に立ち向かいます。友達も家族も仕事も持ってるのに幸せになれない、そう思うのはきっと、恋人がいないからじゃない。自信がなくて不安だから、誰かを自分の魅力を確認するための道具にしたいだけなのかもしれない。厳しい現実です。でもこの本は、厳しいだけで終わってはいません。厳しい現実を乗り越えて、主人公が見つける真実こそがこの本の最大の魅力。
　とびきり楽しめるラブコメです。勇気を与えてくれるおとぎばなしです。おすすめします。

good in bed presented itself with an erotic title and a corresponding erotic cover, but its story is totally another thing. It's about a process of trial-and-error in finding a Mr. right, how to accept your Mr. seeming-right left you, and at last, how to give up and how to love again. the fiction contains many episodes that women readers would find them familiar and similar to their experiences while it reserves the fictional dramatic elements to keep its readers entertained. Good in bed is a page-turner. It's funny, touching and humorous.

この本の主人公と自分を重ね合わせずに読むことはできなかった。

過去の愛にしがみつこうとする主人公、そのくせいつも強気に出てしまう彼女。思い切り傷ついた挙句「愛なんて足元から引っ張られる絨毯のようなもの」とか言って「愛する」行為に恐怖を覚えたりする。そして、徐々に感じ、現れはじめる新しい愛と本物の愛。私は、子供のようだが「必ずこの世の中には本気で自分を愛してくれて、自分が本気で愛することができる人間が一人は存在する」と信じている。人を愛するには自分を愛することができなければ無理だ。自分を自分として受け入れる、という意味での「自己愛」。彼女は物語の中で子供のころからのトラウマを乗り越え、そして「自己愛」を再度見つけてゆく・・。

彼女の身に起こるさまざまな出来事を通して、彼女は新しい自分なりの道を開いていく。最終的な彼女の選択に涙しないわけにはいかなかった・・・。かなりドラマチックだ！！！！！

彼女のその会話からは、彼女の女性としての、一人の人間としての豊かな才能とチャーミングな部分が存分に見てとれる。「そうそう、この切り替えしの会話方法・・・まるで海外の連続ドラマものを見ているようだぁ・・・私もこんな回転の速い頭がほし~！！」などと思ってしまう。

精神世界という意味で、内容のかなり濃い本だが、USものならではの「音速回転会話」を通して、彼ら独自のユーモアの盛り込み方なども結構参考になるだろう。日本人からしたら「？」というような切り替えし方なのだ。この会話方法をクリアしたら、某海外ドラマの「アリー」やブリジット・ジョーンズちゃんよりももっと素敵な恋愛ができるかもしれない。今何かに傷ついている女性（失恋とか）、愛されたい~もしくは愛したい~と思っている方には心を込めてこの本をおすすめしたい。私は読み終わってすぐに親友に「購入すべし」とメールした！
