とびきりユニークな動物たちの写真。動物もこんな顔をするのかと思わずため息が漏れるシャッターチャンスが満載だ。だが、この本が最高に素晴らしいのは単なる写真集ではなく、ストーリーが盛り込まれていることだ。そのストーリーとは深く優しく力強い「人生」の応援歌、心温まる励ましのメッセージである。写真を見て笑い、文を読んでほろりとくる。ページを閉じる頃には元気になった自分に、ちょっぴり優しくなった自分に気づくだろう。

最初の１ページから日本語と英語での言葉と写真（動物など）のストーリーになっていて、思わず笑みが浮かび、元気になる本です。アメリカ人の友人にプレゼントをしたら、とても喜んでいました。動物嫌いの人にはお勧めではありませんが、私は気に入っています。
